REMINDER - DEADLINE TO SIGN UP FOR COLLEGE VISITS IS TOMORROW - YOU MAY ONLY SELECT ONE TRIP TO ATTEND.

We are excited to announce that, we will, once again, be offering field trips to local college campus for juniors. Students may select one field trip to attend. This year, we will be taking students to the following campuses for information sessions and tours: 
  • Wheaton College, Norton MA - Small, private liberal arts and sciences college, suburban setting. Popular majors include: Social Sciences; Business, Management, Marketing; Communication, Journalism; Visual and Performing Arts; and Health Professions. Visit date: 2/26/20.
  • Northeastern University, Boston, MA - Large, private university located in a urban campus setting. Popular and interesting majors include Business, Management, Marketing; Engineering; Social Sciences; Health Professions; and Biological and Biomedical Sciences. They are also well-known for their co-op program. Visit date: 2/13/20.
  • WPI, Worcester, MA - Small-medium, private STEM-focused school, campus in a city. Popular majors include Engineering, Environmental Studies, Interactive Media and Game Development, Computer Science and Management. Visit date: 2/11/20.
  • Worcester State University, Worcester, MA - Medium-size, public university, campus in a city. Popular majors include Health Professions (Nursing); Business, Management, Marketing; Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Firefighting and Related Protective Services; Biological and Biomedical Sciences; and Psychology. Visit date: 2/11/20.
We will leave Holliston High School from the School Counseling Office at 8:00 am and return for last block. Students should bring their lunch to school on the field trip day in case we run late and do not make it back for third lunch. There is no cost associated with these visits. 
 
As always, students should check-in with teachers before the field trip. If the teacher has any concerns about a student missing class, the student may have to reconsider their plans.
 
If you are interested in joining us on one of these trips, please have your parent/guardian review, sign, and submit the electronic permission slip that was sent to them earlier this afternoon via e-mail. If they need the permission slip re-sent, please contact your school counselor ASAP. The deadline for signing up is TOMORROW, Friday, February 7th.

  Dear Students and Families of the Class of 2024 -   Please read this message in its entirety - there are a lot of updates regarding the financial aid and college application process at HHS.   You may have heard that there will be a significant overhaul of the processes and systems used to award federal student aid starting with the 2024–25 award year, which includes streamlining the  Free Application for Federal Student  Aid (FAFSA®) form. Here are the highlights: The FAFSA form previously opened on October 1st for the following academic year; in 2023, the FAFSA is currently projected to open in December to file for the 2024–25 award year. New term:  Contributor – Someone who is required to provide information on the FAFSA form. The new FAFSA is role-based, meaning that each contributor accessing the form will only see their section.
