Underclassmen Awards & Celebrate the Class of 2020!

On behalf of Holliston High School and HHS School Counseling, you are invited to join us in celebrating our underclassmen students at the Underclassmen Virtual Awards Presentation. The  presentation will go live tomorrow evening, Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. on the HHS School Counseling YouTube page. The link will remain active on YouTube, so please feel free to access at your convenience. The event will also be broadcast on HCAT TV (Verizon - channel 33, Comcast - channel 96) - date and time to be announced soon!

We are also pleased to debut a video to celebrate our seniors compiled by the School Counseling Office in collaboration with Samuel Abdallah and Austin Chang, members of the Class of 2021. Each year, we ask our seniors to "wear their futures," whether that may be college, entering the trades, or a gap year - to name just a few! -  on May 1, the national college enrollment deposit deadline. This year, with many colleges extending their enrollment deadlines and our community living in a virtual world, we decided to bring the celebration online for the spring and summer! Please visit the HHS School Counseling website or click here to view this video.   Dear Students and Families of the Class of 2024 -   Please read this message in its entirety - there are a lot of updates regarding the financial aid and college application process at HHS.   You may have heard that there will be a significant overhaul of the processes and systems used to award federal student aid starting with the 2024–25 award year, which includes streamlining the  Free Application for Federal Student  Aid (FAFSA®) form. Here are the highlights: The FAFSA form previously opened on October 1st for the following academic year; in 2023, the FAFSA is currently projected to open in December to file for the 2024–25 award year. New term:  Contributor – Someone who is required to provide information on the FAFSA form. The new FAFSA is role-based, meaning that each contributor accessing the form will only see their section. The Direct Data Exchange (DDX) replaces the Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) to access tax information from the IRS. All contributors must consent to tax acce
