Class of 2021 - College Application Process

College application season is truly upon us! We have included some information here which we hope you will find helpful as you navigate this process in this unprecedented time. 

We have put together the 2020 - 2021 HHS College Application Procedure Guide to allow you the opportunity to tackle all of the necessary tasks involved in submitting applications (including but not limited to matching Common App and Naviance, asking for teacher recommendations, and how to request a transcript.)

Many (not all - some are self-report) colleges still require transcripts directly from Holliston High School. In order to make this happen, students need to complete a Transcript Request Form 15 school days in advance of the deadline.

We are enjoying virtual visits with many students and their families. Please don't hesitate to set up a convenient time to meet using the links on the bottom of the main HHS School Counseling page.   Dear Students and Families of the Class of 2024 -   Please read this message in its entirety - there are a lot of updates regarding the financial aid and college application process at HHS.   You may have heard that there will be a significant overhaul of the processes and systems used to award federal student aid starting with the 2024–25 award year, which includes streamlining the  Free Application for Federal Student  Aid (FAFSA®) form. Here are the highlights: The FAFSA form previously opened on October 1st for the following academic year; in 2023, the FAFSA is currently projected to open in December to file for the 2024–25 award year. New term:  Contributor – Someone who is required to provide information on the FAFSA form. The new FAFSA is role-based, meaning that each contributor accessing the form will only see their section.
